Newly addition of plenary speakers and an inspirational documentary for an enhanced experience when attending the 18th Annual Families and Fathers National Conference, February 27th - March 3rd (register here today). We are honored to announce the inclusion of the Children’s Bureau an office of the Administration of Children and Families as well as the Office of Family Assistance in featured plenary and presentations.

 

OPENING PLENARY

Our Opening Plenary Session that have a focus on adverse child experiences, foster-care systems, toxic stress, trauma informed care and other meaningful content to address Father Engagement in the Child Welfare systems and other systems of care. This is an important opportunity for attendees to learn from and connect to national leaders on individual and child-wellness.

NETWORK & RECEPTION

Join Daddy Don’t Go during our Opening Night Reception open to all attendees with an opportunity of networking. Moreover, we open this time for authors in an interactive Meet the Authors for authors and guests to learn about the great works of all faculty and authors at our national conference at one time.

DAY-2 PLENARY

New millennial family is more than a terminology it is an opportunity to learn how to work with young families. The opportunity that attendees will have is to learn new federal initiatives with 2-Generations Initiatives, new federal Child Support Enforcement rules and regulations, cutting-edge Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Marriage-Relationship models and more. This is a rare moment that three leaders from the Administration for Children and Families come at one setting to address strengthening families and improving outcomes for children during our Wednesday, March 1st morning plenary session.

LUNCHEON PLENARY

Disparities in the United States exists internationally and our, Turning Communities of Trauma into Empowerment and Prosperitybrings an international team of physicians, criminologist and maternal and child health experts together for a powerful panel. These colleagues have well over hundreds of years combined expertise in wellness and understanding what is needed to improve the wellness of communities globally. Our luncheon panel on Wednesday, March 1st will go beyond practitioner skills, organizational capacity into the heart of individuals to make a difference in the lives of others.

CLOSING PLENARY

Every attendee come seeking something to maximize and or improve professional development, organizational capacity or even self.  And, everyone has overcome adversity. We close our conference with tremendous, profound and rare motivational speakers that can not only inspire any audience while igniting a powerful desire to go deeper in the process to improve their performance. It is a process of commitment and staying power to make improvements in purpose. An U.S. Army Commander, First Hispanic National Football League Chaplain and an Entrepreneur come to share how to maximize potential on our morning closing plenary, Never Giving Up.

 

ANNUAL GALA 

Our gala will feature some special guests and entertainment; however, it is the passionate remarks from those honored (fathers, couples, families, leaders and advocates) that move from an awards gala to an amazing experience.
