New for HOPE 2027

Reserve Early. Save More. Belong Fully.

Our 2026 conference hotel block sold out, and many colleagues who tried to reserve at the last minute were unable to secure a room at the special conference rate. For HOPE 2027 – the 28th International Families and Fathers Conference, we are turning that success into a new opportunity for you.

Once the Hilton LAX Hotel provides the official FFCA room block link, simply reserve your room first. Then come back to FFCA with your hotel confirmation number showing that you are staying inside the official FFCA Hilton block, and you will receive a 5% discount off your conference registration.

Use that savings in the way that serves you best. Apply it toward a specialty add-on class, upgrade from Basic Access to The Professional, or move from The Professional to The Ultimate. However you choose to use it, know this: we want to help you make the most of your HOPE 2027 experience.

This is your invitation to plan early, save intentionally, and join a community where you belong.

HOPE 2027 is more than a conference. It is a place of connection, growth, inspiration, and return. Take advantage of this opportunity and come be part of what we are building together.

A Personal Invitation to HOPE 2027

My name is Dr. James C. Rodríguez. I serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Fathers and Families Coalition of America.

In 1996, with colleagues in Arizona, we came together as a coalition. We came together to complete our missions of serving children and families. Thirty years ago, we planted an acorn that is now a sturdy oak tree.

Through the ups, the downs, COVID-19, wars, peacetime, governmental budget shutdowns, and seasons of prosperity, we have sustained the course. Our conference has welcomed as many as 700 attendees in Phoenix. We explored the deserts of Las Vegas and even hosted a renewal of vows ceremony for 13 couples. We have hosted this event twice in the San Francisco Bay Area and anchored it in the city of Los Angeles for 15 of the past 18 years.

This conference has also produced a harvest of institutes offered throughout the United States, at universities, in Puerto Rico, in Jamaica, on tribal lands with our First Nation brothers and sisters, in rural communities, in urban settings, and here at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel, a great partner with a fantastic leadership team.

We are offering you more than just a conference. It is an ecosystem. It is reciprocity at its finest.

People asked for our gala to come back. Fine. People asked for our bus tours to return for networking. Outstanding. People asked for Meet the Authors to stand alone at the beginning of the conference. Done.

When people share with us what they want, we work to give you something even greater, something more beautiful, something more precious, and something resilient enough to withstand the conditions we have faced together.

Many of you may not know this, but the very first conference in Los Angeles County allowed to have individuals in person during COVID was this conference. We were only allowed to have 99 people in person, and we were creative with virtual engagement. We did not want to have a virtual-only conference, so we stayed committed. We hosted 99 people in person and more than 400 virtually.

We stayed the course.

You may have never heard of our conference before. Or you may be one of the people who has returned year after year. Either way, HOPE 2027 is being designed to welcome you into something deeper.

Our partnerships and learning experiences will include UCLA Mindful, Maybelline New York, The Jed Foundation, Theory to Action, Win-Win Parenting, the Coach John Wooden Leadership Course, the Separation Intelligence Foundations Program, and more to come. Selected Partner Pavilions are included at no additional cost for registered attendees.

We are opening pathways where people can come in through Basic Access, add Grab-and-Go Lunches with intentional fireside chats, experience the Wellness Oasis, join the return of the gala with live entertainment, fellowship, networking, and fun, and take part in the return of a bus tour at the close of the conference.

Our Pre-Conference Institute has a twist this year: evidence-informed training resource manuals and workbooks will be provided for selected specialty curriculum trainings. You can walk away with books in hand and take them back into your communities.

I hope you stand with us at HOPE 2027. I hope you come. I hope you see the purpose within you, the purpose within this gathering, and the opportunity to get excited about what we are building together.

HOPE 2027 • Why Registration Feels Different

A Conference Experience Built to Give You More Ways to Participate, Learn, and Return Stronger

HOPE 2027 is intentionally designed so that attendees do not simply move from session to session. The conference is structured to create a fuller experience of learning, wellness, connection, visibility, and practical return — with more options for individuals, teams, and partners to choose the pathway that best fits their schedule, budget, and goals.

From Sunday networking and community-building to Monday deep-dive learning and credential opportunities, from daily HOPE Talks and featured workshops to Oasis Wellness, authors, evening gatherings, and closing experiences beyond the ballroom, HOPE 2027 is being shaped as a conference that meets people where they are and gives them more than one way to benefit.

What Your Registration Opens Up

  • Sunday, April 11: Early-arrival connection through community-building and networking, including the Topgolf Get-Together experience for attendees who want to begin the week with shared energy and relationship-building.
  • Monday, April 12: A major opening day that includes Coming Together, the Opening HOPE Talk Series, credential trainings and intensive learning sessions, continued access to Oasis Wellness, and the Grand Opening Reception Networking Event in the Pacific Ballroom Expo Hall, open to attendees and designed for visibility, welcome, and connection.
  • Tuesday through Thursday mornings: Dynamic HOPE Talk Sessions in the International Ballroom, paired with intentional breaks for sponsor, vendor, and resource engagement in the Pacific Ballroom Expo Hall.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday lunch general sessions: Best Practice Share Sessions and a Meet the Authors Panel, paired with Grab-and-Go Lunch built into the conference flow to keep people connected, moving, and engaged without losing the day’s momentum.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons: Three concurrent workshop blocks each day, giving participants practical educational choices without overloading the learning experience.
  • Tuesday evening: Complimentary access to Men2Men Cafe and Women2Women Cafe, designed as intentional spaces for deeper conversation, healing, reflection, leadership, and connection.
  • Wednesday evening: A shared Evening Dinner Experience built for community, celebration, and meaningful time together.
  • Thursday midday: A featured Oasis Wellness General Session with Tai Chi, mindfulness, and Grab-and-Go Lunch, helping attendees breathe, move, reset, and remain present as the conference closes.
  • Thursday evening: A memorable Hollywood Bus Tour Networking Event that extends the conference spirit beyond the ballroom and into a shared city experience.

Flexible Ways to Join

HOPE 2027 includes full conference registration pathways, one-day and two-day options, and access points that make it easier for individuals, small teams, and organizations to participate in a way that feels practical and worthwhile.

Expanded Learning Access

Hybrid registration will be available for all HOPE Talk Sessions and featured daily workshops, creating meaningful access for those who cannot travel while still preserving the power of the live conference. All presenters will participate in person only.

Throughout the week, attendees will also experience the Oasis Wellness environment in Newport A, including restoration-centered programming, massage opportunities, mental health wellness support, mindfulness, and intentional spaces to pause, refocus, and return stronger to both work and life. HOPE 2027 is being designed not only for professional development, but for the people doing the work.

When you look at the full rhythm of the conference — HOPE Talks, deep learning, workshops, lunch general sessions, authors, wellness, café gatherings, networking, evening experiences, and flexible participation pathways — HOPE 2027 offers far more than a traditional registration.

Attendees do not simply leave with notes. They leave with new relationships, useful strategies, renewed energy, and a stronger sense of where they belong in the work ahead.

Registration Policy

Our Registration Commitment Policy

The Fathers & Families Coalition of America follows a No Cancellation, No Refund, and No Transfer Policy. This long-standing policy has been in place for more than 16 years and reflects practices commonly used by major national and global conferences, including nonprofit and leadership events.

Each registration activates planning commitments that begin well before the conference starts, including space allocation, staffing, materials, food planning, technology, and venue-related requirements. For that reason, all registration fees are considered final once submitted.

This policy helps FFCA remain responsible in its planning while continuing to offer a high-quality conference experience designed to serve professionals, parents, leaders, and partners with care, consistency, and strong overall value.

Unpaid registrations at the time of the event will automatically default to the At-the-Door rate ($650). FFCA also reserves the right to limit access to sessions, materials, or future events for attendees with unresolved balances.

Purchase Orders will be accepted only from entities that fully satisfied their prior conference payment obligations. We thank you for understanding and for supporting a conference model that works to balance thoughtful stewardship, broad access, and a strong participant experience.

Final Step: Confirm Your Registration Email

A confirmation message will be sent to the email address you provide during registration. Please double-check your email before submitting to ensure you receive your confirmation, updates, and important event information.

FFCA is committed to delivering excellent service and timely communication. To help us serve you best, please make sure your contact information is accurate and up-to-date at the time of registration.
