Dr. James C. Rodríguez, MSW, CADC
Dr. James is a veteran, clinical social worker, professor, researcher, author, publisher, coach, and President & CEO of the Fathers and Families Coalition of America.
Across more than four decades, his work has crossed direct practice, leadership development, behavioral health, family systems, higher education, public health, organizational development, fatherhood, professional training and systems change.
The purpose of that experience is not to make your journey look like his. It is to bring a deeper collection of tools, questions, perspectives and lessons to the table while helping you discover what fits your life, leadership, family, organization or next chapter.

For decades, I kept learning. Some training was required. Much of it was not. I pursued learning because I wanted to understand people, leadership, relationships, behavior, trauma, purpose, organizations—and myself—more deeply.
Sometimes I learned because I wanted to become a stronger leader. Sometimes I wanted to help a father, family, practitioner or organization. Sometimes I was trying to understand my own experiences. And sometimes I learned for the simplest reason of all: I was curious.
Purpose Within brings those experiences together without pretending that one certification, one theory or one framework contains every answer. Each becomes another possible plank for the bridge.
