The 26th International Families and Fathers Conference is not just another event. It is a unique gathering that draws participants from across the globe. Organized by the Fathers and Families Coalition of America (FFCA), this annual event is a beacon for professionals dedicated to the welfare of families and fathers. Its broad international attendance, with participants from every continent, makes it a truly global movement.
In 2024, the conference gained extraordinary recognition and support from President Biden's Administration, appointing three Presidential Appointees whose presence and leadership will be pivotal. Tanguler Gray, the Office of Child Support Services commissioner at the Administration for Children and Families within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, brings a wealth of experience in family support services. Rebecca Jones Gaston, MSW, who serves as the ACYF Commissioner, Commissioner of the Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Acting Associate Commissioner of the Children Bureau (C.B.), and Acting Associate Commissioner of the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), adds her extensive expertise in child and youth advocacy. Antrell Tyson, appointed Regional Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for Region IV, completes this trio of influential leaders. Their contributions will enrich the conference, providing valuable insights and advancing family and fatherhood support discussions. This is a unique opportunity to learn from and network with these influential leaders in the field.
The formal recognition and endorsements from prominent political figures further enhance the conference's prestige. Then-U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris, U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee, and the Honorable Congressman Danny K. Davis have all lent their support. U.S. Congressmen Jimmy Gomez (34-CA) has also provided congressional recognition, highlighting the conference's impact on fathers and community stakeholders during the annual gala. Their support underscores the importance of your participation.
Additionally, the conference boasts the support of influential figures such as Puerto Rico's first female governor, the Honorable Sila María Calderón, and then Congresswoman Karen Bass, now Mayor of Los Angeles. Their endorsements and support from every U.S. President's Administration since Bill Clinton underscore the event's enduring significance. Your participation will not just be for this year but will have a lasting impact. For more information, visit the conference page and join us in 2025!
