National African American Drug Policy, Inc. is a very unique affiliate member of Fathers & Families Coalition of America with a focus on Social Policy, Social Justice, Child Welfare Policy, Substance Abuse Prevention Policy and led by addressing the disparities of policies that intersect with practices. Our District of Columbia is led by the Honorable Arthur L. Burnett, Sr. a retired federal judge that at his height of his career appointed as a senior judge, the first African American Federal Magistrate and one of the first African American Attorneys in The President John F. Kennedy Administration in the U.S. Attorney General's Office for A.G. Robert F. Kennedy. The National African American Drug Policy Coalition is a coalition of pre-eminent African American professional organizations united to promote drug policies and laws that embrace the public health nature of drug abuse and provide a more effective and humane approach to address the chronic societal problem of drug abuse.
