Father's Day week is here, and the Fathers and Families Coalition of America is honored to host a National Fireside Conversation on the Impacts of Policies and Strengthening Families.
We invite you to join our featured speaker, Congressman Danny K. Davis, Il-07, Chair of a crucial sub-committee with the responsibilities of many legislations impacting millions through federally funded programs.
Fathers and Families Coalition of America desired to add to the experience with four colleagues advancing policies to improve the outcomes of children through engaging fathers. We are excited about the anticipated briefings from State Representative La Shaw K. Ford (IL) and Dr. Rufus Sylvester Lynch, ACSW will give insights into two-state (Illinois and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) 2022 bills that will transform how states can augment the suggestions by Congress to state law, funding, and advancement of best practices.
The National Fireside Policy Conversation could not happen without two essential speakers, Mr. Jeffery M. Leving, LTD, Chicago, IL, who will effectively give attendees sound process strategies to advocate for children in our virtual meeting. Dr. Jill Hunter-Williams, Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Danny K. Davis, provided a fantastic briefing for our conference attendees on March 11, 2022. Dr. Hunter-Williams will provide essential policies to improve engaging fathers in systems that include: OFA TANF federally funded programs, Child Support, and Child Welfare as three examples.
