About the Event
Join us for a unique literary experience at the 26th International Families and Fathers Conference – Building Bridges! The Meet the Authors event, hosted during the President's Reception, is an incredible opportunity to:

  • Showcase your book to an engaged audience. 
  • Participate in live readings and panel discussions. 
  • Network with conference attendees, exhibitors, and fellow authors. 
  • Celebrate with entertainment and a vibrant evening reception.

This two-part event includes:

Hosted Networking Hour (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Pacific Ballroom Expo Hall) – Connect with attendees in an open forum and display your books.
Meet the Authors & President's Reception (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | International Ballroom) – Live author introductions, interactive panels, and a night of celebration with music, dinner, and networking.

How to Participate

Who Can Apply?
Open to authors who are presenters, exhibitors, vendors, or registered conference attendees.

Participation Requirements:

  • RSVP Required: Sign up by completing the Meet the Authors Google Form.

  • Conference Registration: Must be a paid and registered attendee.

  • Bring Your Books & Materials: Authors must bring display copies and promotional flyers.

  • Book Donation: Each author donates one signed copy for the Closing General Session giveaway (April 11, 2025).

What to Expect

Networking Hour (Pacific Ballroom Expo Hall | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

  • Authors will have designated tables near the hosted beverage station to showcase their books and engage with attendees.

President's Reception (International Ballroom | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

  • Live Author Introductions: Each author has 60-90 seconds to introduce their book.

  • Panel Discussions: Selected authors will participate in insightful discussions about their work and inspiration.

  • Evening Entertainment: Music, networking, and a celebration led by Paris Escovedo.

What to Bring
  • Books: At least one signed display copy (additional copies for sale or display recommended).

  • Promotional Flyers: 10–15 copies of book ordering information (or 25–50 if multiple books are available under one order form).

  • Table Signage & Branding: Any additional materials to represent your work.
