Hey there! The DiSC Model developed by the Fathers and Families Coalition of America is simply amazing! It stands out from other training programs in so many ways. Unlike other programs that simply provide personality profiles, our program is very flexible, and it caters to the training needs of corporations, non-profit organizations, and government staff, providing a wide range of benefits to parents and practitioners alike.

We use the three E's in our program - Explore, Experiment, and Execute - to go beyond providing just a profile and to explore the participants' personalities more deeply. The program is like a little seed that, once planted and watered, can grow into a field of unlimited possibilities. The DiSC Model by FFCA comprises four significant dimensions - Psychological, Behavioral, Emotional, and Noological - all shaped by the participant's personality.

Our program incorporates Logotherapy, Ikigai, Kintsugi, and Pyramid of Success, which are additional nutrients to grow the wheat field for a greater understanding. And guess what? Our model includes Eight Dimensions instead of just four quadrants, a valuable addition to the program. Trust us; you don't want to miss out on this!

What is DiSC?

Many personality assessments, including the Five-Factor Model and the Myers-Briggs test, indicate a connection between personality traits and how they impact relationships. The DiSC Model is a personality assessment analyzed for over forty years and has validity across four quadrants. These four quadrants include:

• The D (Dominance) style, which describes direct, forceful, and outspoken people with their opinions.
• The i (Influence) style, which describes people who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and lively.
• The S (Steadiness) style, which describes gentle, accommodating, and patient people.
• The C (Conscientiousness) style, which describes people who are analytical, reserved, and precise.

If you want to deliver DiSC to your clients or become a part of our organization faculty, we make it easy to get started. You can choose an option that works best for you. The DiSC Certification includes a required 16-hour training of trainers program that will take 2 hours each week. DiSC Training is live and requires at least 80% in-class participation.

We offer three levels of opportunities to join our DiSC training program. The training will be held every week at California Time (Pacific et al.), and everything will be live, so all colleagues must join us at one of these times over eight weeks. FFCA is opening the opportunity for certified trainers to be approved for the DiSC program in cooperation with FFCA. We have received numerous requests from people who want to join our faculty team, and now the opportunity is available.

Here are the three levels of opportunities that we offer:

Level One: This is a comprehensive DiSC training program that lasts eight hours and includes a digital manual only.
Level Two: This is a comprehensive DiSC training program that includes principles of instruction, course assignments, and a practicum of 12 hours of total course involvement.
Level Three: This is a comprehensive DiSC training program that includes the opportunity to join our faculty team and become a certified approved FFCA DiSC program trainer. The total course involvement lasts 14 hours and includes monthly faculty support.

All participants will receive a personal DiSC Assessment, have on-demand playback options, and receive a digital manual. The DiSC 8 Dimension Assessment and Behavioral Assessment will also be provided. We will blend Noological dimension with intentional assignments. All participants must use the FFCA Model for literature reviews, in-class, and take-away assignments with shared learning exercises. In 2024, a final paper will be required to go with the teaching exercise posted in the FFCA Blog.

We have trained thousands of individuals walking with them through the DiSC program. FFCA will start the process of a training of trainers program. We have a curriculum in English and Spanish to deliver DiSC to your clients as part of our team and authorized faculty. Our certification process will include examining research and theory of the DiSC assessment and participating in an FFCA course, either the Advanced Practitioner Credential or the OAR Leadership Program. Joining our faculty will include co-facilitating sessions after you go through a comprehensive DiSC training program apart from one of the two required programs. In the DiSC Certification program, we will learn together over a 16-hour training program to understand and apply the principles of everyday behavior based on William Moulton Marston and lessons learned teaching the DiSC program to thousands of individuals.

When you go through training provided at Fathers and Families Coalition of America, we will begin unlocking potential healthy relationships starting with self. Together, we will explore the state of our natural and adaptive responses to our environment and people and what is optimal for our well-being. However, there is more than understanding the four quadrants of this assessment. The DiSC quadrants are in each of us. However, these combinations or two dimensions are aspects of our nature that cannot be viewed as independent but related constructs or combinations. The DiSC assessment gives a window of our predominantly style (behavior in a setting or with others) demonstrated traits in continuous relationship with each quadrant. When you go through our training program, we blend it with Emotional Intelligence, revealing the connections, enhancing our understanding of self, and improving relationships with others.

What Makes the DiSC Profile and Training for Professionals and Parents Unique?

FFCA's approach integrates the DiSC with evidenced-based strategies to provide learners may initially seem exciting. There is an abundance of personality profiles available to incorporate into a training program and strengthen learning. Participants learn about the other profile styles to increase self-awareness; build stronger relationships; communicate effectively; help minimize conflict. The broadened perspective creates a new pathway for discussions to enhance or develop relationships, self-management skills, and a couple or parent-child cohesion, and explain what communication and personality profiles work and what does not work in relationships. The training produces a unique assessment that identifies an individual's preferred approach to emotional, critical habits, and intentional responses. FFCA's approach is an empowerment-based positive emphasis on behavioral and communication tendencies.
