April 22-25, 2024
25th International Families and Fathers Conference
Hilton Los Airport Hotel
5711 West Century Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90045

Have you ever had a moment where you couldn't believe that things have worked out so well? A moment that felt surreal and made you feel like you must be dreaming? But then, upon reflection, you realize that it was through all the trials, fantastic experiences, hard work, tremendous support from friends, and collaboration that your dream became a reality.

The 25th International Families and Fathers Conference is a perfect example of having a vision and aiming for higher levels to make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of attendees and programs globally. You are cordially invited to join us in Los Angeles, California, or attend virtually this April.

The event features an impressive lineup of presenters from diverse backgrounds. We invite exhibitors, attendees (including parents or those working with children and families), speakers, presenters, guests, and leaders to join us for this four-day experience. In addition to over sixty workshops, we now offer special academies that provide advanced training. The team has also arranged networking opportunities and evening functions for celebration. Our annual opening night reception will feature Paris Escovedo, an international performing artist in Latin Jazz. The Drs. Ramon and Yolanda Nieves Family Affair Gala will include awards, a delicious dinner, and a performance by one of the world's best harpists. Mariea Antoinette is an extraordinary African American jazz harpist who has redefined the boundaries of her instrument. She will give the audience a private concert for this open-to-the-public gala. We feel privileged to have everyone with us as we extend a warm welcome to you all today.

The 24th Annual Families and Fathers International Conference was an incredible display of dedication, diversity, and inclusion. Attendees from different nations and states came together to share their expertise, learn from one another, and build bridges towards a brighter future. The event was made possible by the hard work and support of many individuals, including volunteers, speakers, and sponsors who share a common vision of promoting the well-being of families and children worldwide.

The conference featured over twenty track sessions and daily events that inspired attendees to dream big and believe in the possibilities of achieving those dreams. It showcased the incredible diversity of professionals who are passionately committed to supporting families, including child welfare experts, marriage and family therapists, social workers, educators, counselors, and fatherhood practitioners, among others.

In 2024, the Fathers and Families Coalition of America is leading the way towards a more inclusive and equitable world, where every family has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Through their tireless efforts, they are helping to turn dreams into realities, and creating a brighter future for families and children everywhere.

IMPACT EXCEEDS NUMBERS

Reaching Beyond The Limit

Fathers and Families Coalition of America is driven by passion statement of striving for excellence by finding a cause bigger than self. And in the spirit of recognizing excellence, I want to take a moment to say thank you!

We established partnerships, relationships, friendships, and a different kind of nonprofit with the essence of family. Over a decade ago, Dr. Aida Diaz, President of Asociación de Maestros de Puerto Rico, welcomed FFCA to create three successful summer conferences. In 2019, Dr. Diaz's inspiration, passion, dedication, and tremendous vision led to the corporation of FFCA in Puerto Rico as our Vice President and her establishment of the Transformation Management and Leadership Institute. FFCA, like all entities, engages with some exemplary leaders; however, as we end the 2023 Fiscal Year, her retirement, the void is enormous. FFCA is founded on new pathways with a fondness for reflection to success. The influences of Dr. Aida Diaz are intergenerational in Puerto Rico and globally.

FFCA  is poised to meet the challenge of the new journey through our team of faculty members, volunteers, leadership, and unique frameworks to improve continuously. When you participate in one of our events or programs, we will strive to give you the best. We remain at your service and giving you our best efforts. Ending our fiscal year, FFCA has provided direct professional development with some parent education training to individuals throughout the United States and eleven additional nations. The following are just a few of our highlights.

FOUR PILLARS OF FFCA

Why Fathers and Families Coalition of America?

Our mission is grounded in the philosophy that we can be part of the journey with others in finding a cause bigger than self. One of the essential pillars is based on collaboration. The experience of a collaborative process is a critical element of success. We are supporting opportunities that increase family and child protective factors, focusing on the impact of the inclusion of fathers—providing professional development for those who work with parents and caregivers so that they have the skills, knowledge, and cutting-edge as well as evidence-based interventions to have the access needed to support their passion and purpose working with children and families. We are a leader in the advocacy for children's development, wellness, restorative justice, social justice, early childhood education, criminal justice, and more that help children and their families thrive through the inclusion of fathers. Ask yourself, What prevents you from going into a more profound as a source of inspiration, what is your purpose, how are you expanding your passion, do you invest into your vocation and unique calling?
